longer days, longer dresses

maxi dresses summer 2011


With the weather all shiny and bright and warm, I've found myself slipping into an awful lot of maxi dresses lately.  I love the combination of comfort and elegance that the free-spirited maxi so generously provides.

    i am definitely a dress & skirt kinda girl, but at 5.1 i'm too short to rock the maxi. i look like i'm swimming in a sea of fabric & drowning. remember the blueberry gum scene from the movie "willy wonka & the chocolate factory"? you get the picture.

    Oh, can I have the first, the second, the third, the fifth and the sixth please? :))) The fourth is not exactly my style so I will be graciously leaving it out. Lucky you! We only had a warm weekend and now it's back to rain and low temperatures, so I guess I'll keep the dresses for a bit later.
