Yesterday, Intuit, the small business software company and makers of Quickbooks, came to my home studio from California to film me for a commercial/customer testimonial that will be part of an online journal that they are creating. They were so laid back and so much fun to work with. They're also HUGE supporters of small and indie businesses, and were genuinely interested in what I had to say about my little companies.
I couldn't decide what to wear, but I ended up choosing a neutral ensemble (cream Audrey Dress from Mountains of the Moon, thrifted sweater and belt, and turquoise wedges from B.O.C.) with some bright colored jewelry. It was such a nice change of pace to do something like this, and I'm so excited to see the results. The project will air on the Quickbooks website starting sometime in August. I'll be sure post a link when it does!
Today is a busy one around here. I'm wrapping up a blog design for a client, putting the finishing touches on the fall collection for my clothing line, and trying to complete an illustration for the Bubby and Bean Art shop that I've been working on forever. What are your plans for the day?
Check back tomorrow for a HUGE group GIVEAWAY!
