Isn't this little nook delightfully cozy? |

This is basically my dream come true. Yep. |

I don't think I'll ever get sick of this photo. |

There is so much colorful goodness in this picture.
Just looking at it makes me happy. |

I could spend hours in this place. |

A thought that goes through my head on a daily basis. |
I know, I know - bloggers are always writing about thrift themed topics. But on this Saturday Morning, I am daydreaming of all-things-thrift, and for good reason. This afternoon, I'm meeting my friend Cheri (aka my thrifting adventure partner in crime since high school) to check out a brand new store filled with 6,300 square feet of resale goodness. I'm also just a little bit excited about the fact that tomorrow, Robbie finally gets home from
summer tour for a whole month (!!!), and we have all sorts of plans to hunt for goods for our wedding at estate sales and vintage stores. I also spent most of the day yesterday adding beautiful recently-thrifted goodies to the vintage/gently worn section of my online clothing
shop. So it makes sense that thrifting would be on my mind and in my daydreams today, and I'm feeling extra-inspired by it. I hope these thrift and vintage themed images bring some inspiration to your weekend as well!

Thrifting is so popular for a reason- you never know what treasures you'll find. I try to thrift (lol, love how "thrift", "thrifting" is an adjective in itself) with my mom every Saturday morning.

beautiful pictures! Now I want to go to a few local thrift shops, but instead I have all this homework to do! That might be incentive for me to finish my homework faster :)
ReplyDeleteThanks all! Yes, thrifting is awfully fun. Sometimes I wish I could do it full time. Maybe we should all get together and get our very own traveling vintage RV? ;)

I loved this collection of photos! The "Thrift Shop" photo is iconic. You're right; who WOULD tire of it? Also, thank you for including the photo of the cameras! I think I am going to be doing a collage post centered around vintage cameras, so this photo and subsequent link definitely helped! I'm so glad I stopped by; I'll be checking back soon. :) Have a good rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for years to find a place that has retro stickers to paste on snail mail envelopes, cards and the like (peace signs, Steal your face, dancing bears, GD memorabilia, etc.) Can anyone help? Reply to [email protected]. Thanks - Peace & Love
