It is almost impossible for me to believe that it's been 8.5 months since Robbie proposed, and even harder to believe that in twelve days we will be officially hitched. It's been an incredible experience, being engaged and all, but oh my freaking goodness is planning a D.I.Y. wedding stressful! I still have a massive amount to do, but I know in the end it will be worth it to look back and see all of the hard work that went into designing our little party.
After the wedding, I'll have a bunch of cool D.I.Y. tutorials to share with you. Our wedding is going to be pretty nontraditional, so a lot of the projects can be used for parties and even home decor. I'm also excited to announce that next week, there will be some really amazing guest posters who will be hijacking my blog throughout the week leading up to my big day. I'll also do my best to check in that week and update you on the madness going on behind the scenes!

Hey Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI've been so busy painting my house, but I did want to get in touch with you before the BIG DAY!
I bet you are so excited, and probably a little stressed. I'm sure it will be a beautiful wedding, and you will get exactly what you want (and it will mean so much more) by doing it yourself. I have read your posts through Google reader, just haven't had a spare moment to form a sensible sentence to leave for a comment on your blog!
I can't wait to see pics, and check out your upcoming craft projects!
I can't believe only 12 more days to go! That's so exciting and I can't wait to see the tutorials :)
