Earlier this year, I gave you a couple of glimpses inside my (dream) home. You can check out those posts here and here. It's been a while, so I thought I'd invite you back over for a little more of the tour. This peek inside my abode (in my imagination) gives you an idea of the fantastically cozy ambiance I've created (in my head) for the autumn months. Enjoy!
Just in case you didn't pick up on my not-so-subtle hinting, this isn't actually my house. But as I've said before, pretending is so much more fun than reality.
Do you fantasize about what your dream home would look like?
I sure wish I could fantasize like that! Beautiful rooms!
ReplyDeleteI love the sweet and rustic kitchen. We live in a pretty small house for a family of 4 so we are hoping to move someday and I always call our next house our "Forever House" and I am always seeing things neat and inspiring ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love all of those rooms...especially the bathroom :) thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeletei love all these! i would also enjoy living in your dream house!

Fantasizing is the best way to make it a reality. Keep on dreamin' and dream big!

ReplyDeleteAll the time. These are great rooms; I would live in that bathroom. :) xo, Mary
ReplyDeleteLove them all, especially the sewing room!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments everyone! If only this house was real. ;)

Great pics! I love the tables -- and the sewing room, of course.
ReplyDeleteHey sweet pea, I just want to stop by and say hi. Sorry I haven't been by for ages. I just wanted to wish you all the best with your imminent wedding and all the preperations that must be going on right now. I can't wait to hear how it all goes. BIG hugs and smiles. Jo
ReplyDeleteAh, I have long stopped thinking of my dream house and maybe this is just the reason I am not getting closer to it. I guess I have to renew my dreaming magic. I also firmly believe that you and me will have to share the house, looking at your photos and checking in with my memories of dreaming :)
ReplyDeletei don't really fantasize about dream homes. i really love my house, & i'm not that much into interior decorating. melissa, i adore your shabby chic sewing room inspiration!

Beautiful home. I dream of a cabin in the woods, surrounded by nature, secluded from life.

The sewing room just delicious! I don't think I would ever get anything done in there though as I would just sit and look at everything all day! My dream home is very similar to yours as I love the wood clad cosy chalet look too. Also I would love a big garden for Toby the pug and a little studio room with extractor so I could spray paint my furniture even when it is raining! x
