A couple of weeks ago, I posted about my decision to finally make the switch from BlackBerry to iPhone, and my (perhaps slightly irrational) excitement over how easy it became to fuel my obsession with documenting life through photographs - via Instagram. Since it's Monday (sigh), and because the sun is now officially well on its way to saying goodbye at 4 PM everyday (double sigh), I thought I'd brighten up the day by sharing a few new Instagram photos. It always cheers me up to look at pictures of pretty things - and what's prettier than a 15-1/2 year old Black Lab/Chow mix named Bubby?

ReplyDeleteOh, you sure do look like having fun with your new iphone. Do you find yourself taking more photos than before? I am curious because I always take my camera with me, and I actually don't need a camera in my phone :)) I am more inclined to see it as a waste of resource really but I know that normal people are not very up to dragging a DSLR with them at all times.

ReplyDeleteSonya, I am finding myself taking more photos. I bring my camera with me when I travel or go to a cool event, but I don't bring it with me on a daily basis when I'm running business errands or walking the dog, etc. And I tend to find the coolest, most random things to photograph during those times! I actually find the iPhone to be amazing when it comes to saving resources, because it's small and there is so much you can do with it. Having a phone like this allows me to own so much less than in the past. It's pretty awesome. :)

P.S. Kim - yes, the little white dog is 'Bean.' :) It's my sister's dog Isis. I gave Leary (my dog) the nickname Bubby when he was just a baby, and I nicknamed Isis Bean a few years ago. I love them both so much and am constantly inspired by them - hence the name 'Bubby and Bean.' :)
