my style icons

When I'm in the need of style inspiration, I often look to these ten incredible women.  And when I say 'style,' I don't necessarily mean fashion.  I love fashion.  I work in fashion.  But fashion isn't the same thing as style.  Fashion is a constantly changing concept, often based on newness and trends and things that exist outside of each of us as individuals.  Fashion can be defined; style cannot.  Style is something personal.  Style goes beyond what you're wearing on your body.  And each of these women has it.

And on a completely different note - I can't believe it's Wednesday already you guys. Weeks always seem to go by so much faster when Robbie is home.  We've been trying to spend a lot of time together, since he's been on tour so much this year without a lot of downtime.  I'm trying not to get too used to it because he leaves again early next week, but I gotta say, it sure is nice having your husband home!  We went to one of our favorite local nature preserves yesterday and did a little photo shoot with one of my favorite new springtime outfits (I'll share tomorrow or Friday).  I'll also be posting the details and photos I promised from last weekend's spontaneous adventure in the next day or two.  Have a beautiful day!
