B.a.i.t. is an acronym for "but another innocent tale..." This is the dream and vision of designer Julie Kim created in the Summer of 2011. Our line is vintage inspired in silhouette, but always updated with modern details and color. On any given day, we could be blasting old school hip hop or Bach's Cello Suites. Roller Skating and Ping Pong are our most favorite past time. We are a little company that plans to always sell you the prettiest of shoes with the biggest of smiles.
We live in a highly digitized age, but I believe writing and reading from paper should not be lost. There's so much history with the process of making information and memories out of paper! I feel a greater connection to words, drawings and photos that I can feel, smell, and touch than I do those I can only see and click on a screen. I love the blank books I make! Hours can pass as I'm working on my books and it feels like minutes. I love turning the complete product in my hands and admiring it, and I love having the opportunity to share this love with others.
