Happy Friday! Today I thought I'd share a few snapshots of our holiday decor this year. I love decorating, but I'm always so ridiculously busy this time of year that I end up letting it become another stress. This year, I started adding a little at a time, every few days, starting after Thanksgiving. We host my family for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, so it's important to me for things to feel cozy and festive. I think the system I've used this year is going to be a keeper. Breaking up big projects (whether for work or fun) always seems to make them more enjoyable (and less likely to provoke last-minute panic attacks!).
We leave for Mexico this weekend for Robbie's band's festival, but I have some fun posts scheduled for next week, and I'll check in from down there too. Internet there has been spotty at best in the past, but I'll be sure to post some pictures and updates from our adventures to Instagram (@bubbyandbean) and Twitter when I can. Have a wonderful weekend!
I love your holiday decorations! Those little deer are adorable :) Have an awesome time in Mexico!
ReplyDeleteLove that little Charlie Brown Christmas tree! Such sweet festive touches. You're inspiring me to get the rest of finish getting mine up; I've been so slow about it this year.

ReplyDeleteSuch chic decor! I love the tinsel tree, vintage santas, and the wreath over the fireplace is such a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteAw! I love the colorful tree. And Bubby's paw print of course. That's the most perfect tree topper. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Charlie Brown christmas tree! I saw a version of it on Target.com while I was searching around on Black Friday for gifts. I wanted to buy one for myself sooooo baaaaad, but of course I did the responsible thing and spent my money on gifts for other people instead. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't kicking myself for not getting it...
ReplyDeleteAnd I also adore your vintage Santas. I know you think you have too many, but they look so pretty together! I think your only problem is you just need another cabinet : ]
Have fun in Mexico!!
Your decorations are super cute! And I know what you mean, it is nice to actually space out decorating it can get overwhelming very fast. Have a fun and safe trip!
