Inside My (Dream) Home // Part 6

Every now and then (the last time being seven full months ago - oops), I share a tour of my home with you guys.  And by "home," I mean the one I'm dreaming about in my mind.  That's right.  The interiors I'm sharing here may not technically belong to me, but I find them incredibly inspiring, and therefore like to pretend that they're mine.  All mine.  I think we can all agree that we're never too old to make believe, so today, play along with me, and imagine I'm walking you through my absolutely fabulous abode for a special private tour...

I hope you've enjoyed our special (imaginary) home tour!  Now I must get back to lounging by my oasis-like lagoon of a swimming pool while I feast upon Belgian truffles and sip on strawberry-infused champagne.  As long as we're pretending, we might as well swap out these 20 degree temps for a balmy summer day, right?  'Til next time...

You can view my past dream home tours here, here, here, here and here, and my 'Home + Interior Love' Pinterest board here.

Do you ever fantasize about your dream home?  Oh - and I love stalking home and interior-themed Pinterest boards, so if you have one, be sure to post a link in the comments.

  1. Your "house" is absolutely lovely, Melissa, especially the built-in bookcases. I'm a book-fiend. And that pond-pool's pretty awesome too. :)

  4. I really have no talent for interior designs. I essentially want my home to come pre-made with pretty things on the walls and pretty furniture.

  5. I love the black and white with a rustic point of view--very cool selection of rooms!

  6. That pool would be amazing, I love when things you've always kind of thought of having like a pool is shown to you in a way that you couldn't possibly have dreamed of doing. Like who would have thought of making your pool look like that? Amazing. I love being inspired! Thank you for that lovely nugget of genius!

  10. Pond and books - totally perfect :) I am a house dreamer too. Hopefully I will move soon and we will rent something with my man for just the two of us. And when that happens and I will have free hand to decorate... I will go crazy :)

    1. I am a lucky person because I have a lot of awesomeness in my life, but that isn't my pool and this isn't my house. These are just homes that inspire me, which is the point of my Dream Home series. It's not real. :)
