There's still snow on the ground here in the Chicago area (with more on the way today!), but soon, it will finally be time to pack away the thick socks and cold weather boots in exchange for sandals, colorful flats, and other warm weather footwear goodness. My spring and summer shoes get a lot of wear, and I've been on the hunt for a new pair or two to snag for the upcoming season. In the process, I've fallen in love with a great deal more of them than I'll ever actually be able to own, and thought I'd share some of them with you. The ten pairs you see here are among my current favorites. They represent a lot of different styles and price points (from incredibly affordable to waaaay out of my price range), but I'd be thrilled to have any of them on my feet this spring.
(Pssst... I got #4 a couple of weeks ago and cannot wait to wear them!)
P.S. I feel the need to tell you guys that I wasted a good 20 minutes trying to figure out a way to incorporate the line "put a spring in your step" (get it? get it?) into this post. I just couldn't do it. Also, I am shaking my head right now at my uncanny ability to obsess over cheesy puns. Sigh.
I'm rolling my eyes extra hard at the snow. Stupid, stupid snow. It's March!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, numbers 3 and 9 are delightful. I'm in the market for some new warm weather shoes, and I think those are contenders.
This is an amazing selection of shoes - I'm so in love with #7!

I love number one, I wish I was able to walk in heels. I'm done with boots, looking forward to wearing flipflops and ballerina-flats.

ReplyDeleteI've never been a fan of gladiator shoes but these selections would be hard to pass up if I was in a store! I love #3 & #7 the most! This snow has got to melt and go away!! =)

I *need* number 1, 2 and 4! Oh my gosh. You have such fun taste, Melissa. I love these! :D Every Spring I must have a new pair of cute, comfy shoes. I've been lovin' Blowfish Shoes and American Eagle!
ReplyDeleteHey, I think that would have made for a pretty excellent title myself ; ]
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shoes here! I can't even afford the cheap ones, but I have some from last year in my closet that never had the chance to be worn, so I'm pretty excited about those. Technically I could wear them now (it was low 80s out yesterday!) but it still feels like Winter to me. I'm not ready for Spring this year until I get at least one more good rain week!
Numbers two and four please! Love your style. These are all fabulous for spring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments everyone! Glad you guys like these spring shoes too. :) xo, m
ReplyDeletei love all of these but especially # 3 and # 7
ReplyDeleteI love the Cutout Cookie Wedges! I'm ready for sandle weather!
