Hey friends - just checking in from the road to say a quick hello. We've been having an absolutely wonderful time on our road trip, and are feeling a little sad to have to leave Colorado today to start making our way back east. Aside from a visit to the urgent care clinic on Friday (turns out that trips straight up to 9,000+ feet elevation when pregnant may result in fainting episodes), things have been nice and relaxed - just what we hoped for. Along the way we've visited Robbie's grandmother and great aunt, his parents, and many of my dear, old Colorado friends who I've known since my days living here right after college. We've eaten great food, attended a surprise birthday party, explored mountain passes, played with some of our favorite kids, listened to live music, and done a lot of lying around. I have lots of stories and photos to share once we're back and settled. In the meantime, there are some great DIY guest posts scheduled here for the next couple of days, and I'll be back to my regular posting on Thursday. If you'd like to follow along on the rest of our road trip adventures, you can follow me over on Instagram (user name is @bubbyandbean).
