This is only the second time that I've ever done a food 'review' here at Bubby and Bean. This isn't a review blog, and I like to keep the sponsored posts to a minimum. But here's the thing. Ever since I got pregnant, I eat frozen treats like they're going out of style. There is nothing that tastes better to me right now than ice cream/sorbet/frozen yogurt/frozen pops. So when the fine folks over at Fruttare asked if I wanted to try out their new frozen fruit and juice bars, I just couldn't say no. And you know what? I'm really glad I didn't say no, because they are amazing you guys. I mean, amazing.
Aside from the fact that I could happily eat nothing but frozen treats for every meal these days, I was interested in trying Fruttare Bars because they're made with real fruit juice and actual fruit, rather than a lot of creepy artificial ingredients. Frozen pops that don't turn your mouth weird colors? I'm in. After much delegation, I ended up opting for the Strawberry and Milk variety. Or as I've renamed them, Heaven on a Stick. They're super creamy and rich and taste a lot like fresh frozen custard to me. I especially love the chunks of strawberries that are hidden throughout each bar like sweet mini treasures. Admittedly, I also like the lazy factor of being able to grab one of these out of the freezer and eat. No scooping necessary. Instant refreshers. So yeah, it's official. I have a new favorite frozen treat. And possibly even a new greatest joy. (I'm pretty easy to please these days if there are frozen desserts involved.)
And since I just can't keep all of this goodness to myself, the first one of you to comment with your email address is going to get a coupon to try a box of Fruttare Bars (of your choice!) for free. Woot! Happy Thursday!
Thanks to Fruttare for partnering with me on this post. And thanks to my readers for supporting Bubby and Bean by allowing me to post occasional sponsored content. All sponsored posts feature products or services that I genuinely feel would be of interest to you, and all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

ReplyDeleteThese are really good. I haven't tried this particular brand, but we usually have the Mexican Paleta brands from the store (strawberry and coconut are my personal faves). Or homemade ones too. They're pretty easy to make, and you can make all kinds of flavors, including cucumber chili (which is pretty cool).
Oh yeah -- they are heaven on a stick!
ReplyDeletefruit bars are def my favorite - esp during these hot summer months here in the south. these look uber yummy!
