In a couple of hours, I'm leaving for a quick weekend trip to Door County, Wisconsin with my mom. We've been talking about a mini Baswell Girls getaway before baby comes for a while now, and decided on Door County because it's supposed to be really beautiful this time of year. For all of the traveling I've done over the years, I've somehow never been there, which is really strange because it's kind of a northern Midwest staple. The leaves on the trees are starting to change color down here in the Chicago area, so we're hoping for even more vibrant colors five hours north of us. I'm really looking forward to just relaxing and enjoying the fall season while we're away. The only thing missing will be my little sis. Wish you could make it too, Morgan!
In the spirit of our autumn getaway, I put together a few fun fall-inspired DIY projects that I've come across recently. I always talk here about what a summer girl I am, and I figured it was time I gave autumn a little credit too. I'm excited to try out some of these projects after I get back home.
Have you done any fall DIY's or fall decorating this year? Or gone on any fall-inspired adventures or mini getaways? (By the way, you can follow along on our little trip via Instagram at user name @bubbyandbean.) Enjoy your weekend!
Have fun in Door County - one of my favorite places! :)
