Summer is so close I can taste it.  We got hints of summery weather here in Chicagoland last weekend, which motivated me to start to redesign our little deck/balcony space.  I picked up some plants and flowers, a simple new outdoor umbrella (this one in grey; it's perfectly my style and such a bargain), and a pretty solar lantern.  I'm envisioning a whole lot of summertime relaxation out there once it's decorated.  I can't wait for outdoor dinners and fresh cocktails in the sunshine.  I'm not a huge drinker these days, but after skipping the booze all last summer while I was pregnant, I am so looking forward to enjoying some fun summer-style adult beverages this time around. (Disclaimer: Yes, I'm still breastfeeding, but that's what pumps are for!)
