I'll admit I'm a little biased, because it happens to be my birthstone, but I think that the garnet is one of the most stunning of all gemstones. The color is so rich and deep, and it looks lovely paired with just about anything. And for that reason, I'm thrilled to be teaming up with the folks at Angara to give one lucky Bubby and Bean reader this gorgeous oval garnet and diamond shell pendant and matching chain, worth $109!  The garnet, which is AAA quality, is contained in a silver prong setting along with two brilliant, colorless diamonds. It is truly an elegant, timeless piece of jewelry.

Angara is a family-run company that has been in the fine gemstone business for generations, and has deep roots in gemstone cutting, polishing and design. While they have primarily catered to larger retailers around the world, in 2005 they decided to bring their gemstones and gemstone jewelry directly to the public.
