I'm generally not much of a pink person, but I do find myself drawn to its paler shades. I'm especial fond of blush - the shade that is just a hint of pink away from being beige. It's almost a neutral, but with enough of a touch of color to make it elegant without being too sweet. I think it looks good on almost any skin tone, and unlike bolder pinks, it can be paired with a lot of other colors. The spring 2015 runways were full of pale pink too - from tiered chiffon dresses at Alexander McQueen to linen coats at Christian Dior. And with spring just a little over a month away (but who's counting), paying tribute to pale pink for this edition of Color Love seemed only fitting.
Who else is a pale pink fan? What colors are you looking most forward to for spring?

...and I absolutely love pink in all shades :) I like blush pink with gold. The nail polish is nice and I love the ballerina flats!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I am pinning this (^_^).
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely not a pale pink type of person, but I might invest in one blush piece of clothing to layer with blacks and whites. It screams of spring to me! x

My wardrobe is almost entirely black, white and grey these days... at least, the pieces of it that I actually wear... but the one colour I do occasionally gravitate towards is blush pink. I think it's all the years of ballet that have me convinced it's practically a neutral, even though it definitely isn't. But it's certainly pretty :)
ReplyDeletexox,

VERY cute outfit! I use to hate pink. I mean, absolutely hate it. But now it's not so bad. =0)
ReplyDeleteI really like the glasses, the ring and the necklace.

ReplyDeleteThose ballet shoes!!!
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time pulling off pastels. But you know me and my love for pink ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are such gorgeous choices and I totally agree - blush tones are so complimentary to every skin tone! Hope you're having a great week, loves! And let me know if you try the salsa recipe!! xo
ReplyDeleteI love this shade of pink. In fact, last Sunday I wore a knit shit and jacket of that shade with black pants.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm not really a pink person either but I've always loved this blush color. I REALLY like the ring and I think I'd get a lot of wear out of those ballet flats.
ReplyDeleteI like the pale pink on my nails but otherwise, I'll stick with neon pink for clothes :)
ReplyDeleteLoving those sunnies sis!xo
