I'm not usually one to gravitate toward traditional colors for seasons. I don't think it's necessary to only wear dark nail polish in the winter and reserve bold blue and green polish for the warmer months. I see no need to stick with hair highlights in the spring and summer and only go darker in the fall. And I've always scoffed at the whole "only wear white after Memorial Day and before Labor Day" way of thinking (although truthfully, I think that has all but disappeared in today's set of fashion rules anyway). But today, I'm going all-out traditional and celebrating one of my long-time favorites for this time of year: classic summer white. When it comes to long, hot days and breezy warm nights, white clothing and accessories just work. While summer colors go in and out of style, white remains a staple. From boho-tinged white dresses to simple white tees to white sandals (my current favorite), you just can't go wrong with white in the summertime.
