Easter is this Sunday, and I am so excited to put together Essley's basket. She is at the age this year where she understands what is going on and can't wait to see what the Easter bunny brings her, which is admittedly all sorts of thrilling for me. I've been envisioning her basket for a while, filled with little gifts, snacks, and fun goodies that celebrate the season. And today I thought I'd share some of the items I'll be including it, as seen above.
With a baby, toddler, and intense work schedule, gone are the days where I have a lot of free time to run around to different stores shopping for the perfect Easter basket goodies (I'm sure most of you can relate!), so I'm doing things a little different this year, and once again turning to Peapod. I can order everything you see here on my computer or phone, and have it all delivered right to me. This allows me to retain my sanity and actually be able to enjoy working on the baskets instead of stressing. The only thing I have left to do is find the perfect basket and arrange all of these fun items to give to Essley on Easter morning. (Okay, the flowers are for me. Call them Easter basket design inspiration. Really though, what says springtime celebration more than fresh flowers?)
My regular readers already know I'm a fan of Peapod (I've talked about them before, when I used them to supply an autumn picnic and for my vegetarian holiday grocery list), and there is good reason for my affinity for them. They're a truly fantastic service that delivers right to your doorstep, up to seven days a week - for delivery as soon as next day (hello!), or up to two weeks in advance. They've delivered more that 23 million orders across 24 U.S. markets, and they are stocked with more than 12,000 products in a range of categories. My favorite part of Peapod (aside from the major convenience factor) is the wide variety of natural and organic foods they offer. I also love how they expand beyond just typical groceries and also carry seasonal items, office and school supplies, health and beauty aids, pet goods, and wine, beer and spirits (in specific markets). And of course, they're the perfect place to turn for your Easter dinner groceries too!
Who else is putting together Easter baskets this week? Have you tried Peapod yet?
