You guys know well by now that I am a watch person. I'm pretty minimal when it comes to accessories, and I tend to wear the same few jewelry pieces or no jewelry at all. But when it comes to watches, you will always (I mean always) find one on my wrist. I mean, I could be in my pajamas with unwashed hair and dried baby food on my cheek, and I'll still be wearing my favorite watch. When it comes to accessories, the watch is a classic, regardless of your style or age. And in a time when we're glued to phones and devices, it's admittedly nice to have to rely on said devices for one less thing and to just be able to take a quick glance at your wrist to get the time. I'm Team Watch, all the way.
With spring on its way (thank you universe), I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite watches for the season, which can all be seen in the collage above. Of course these would work year round as well, but there is just something about a beautiful timepiece paired with a flowy spring top, open toed booties, and some great jeans that looks so fresh to me. Wouldn't #7 look gorgeous with a floral kimono and some cut-offs? I just snagged #1 (this one) last week (I've wanted a black piece and rose gold piece for a while now), and I've officially declared it one of the stars of my spring wardrobe.
Each of the watches I'm sharing above comes from a brand upon which I've recently been crushing for women's watches called Lord. Based in London, Lord Timepieces creates really beautiful watches for, in their words "people with vision." I like this. A lot. The watch I mentioned above that I recently started wearing, the Classic Date Black, is so simple and pretty and is a perfectly constructed combination of my favorite of my grandmother's mid century watches and really current, on trend timepieces I've been seeing all over for the upcoming season. It's comfortable and well made and I don't want to take it off, ever. That's saying something. They're watches are affordable too, which is always a major plus for me.
Who else is a constant watch-wearer? Which one above is your favorite. Oh, and if you'd like to grab a Lord Timepiece of your own, just use code BEAN on their website for 10% off. Woohoo!
This post is in partnership with Lord Timepieces. Thank you for supporting the brands that help make Bubby and Bean possible.

I'm a watch person too. The one you got is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAfter not wearing a watch for years, I went through a major watch phase from 2014 to the middle of 2016 - and then they simply dropped off my radar again. I have only two in my rather extensive collection that I consistently come back to, and one is very much like number four in this selection, which I have to admit, makes it my favourite ;)

I love #1 and #6! I have never heard of Lord. Looking forward to checking them out.
ReplyDeleteI wear watches as a fashion statement, however, I have to put it off when I'm sewing! My favorite is #4 :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is 6, I do have several watches, but I haven't worn them in quite a while. I should start wearing them again!
