May, June, and July are my favorite months of the year. May is especially exciting for me, because it feels like a new beginning. While most people look at January as a new start for things, I look at May this way. The leaves are fresh on the trees, the flowers have really started to bloom, and the earth comes back to life. (Those of you who know me in real life know that I used to be a massive hippie; I guess my connection to nature and spring as the time of rebirth is ingrained for life, man.)
Everything gets me pumped this time of year, and I feel incredibly inspired. This inspiration comes in many forms, but one of them is just feeling connected to certain images. After my kids go to sleep and I'm finally done with work for the night, I spend a lot more time on Pinterest during late nights, I look at magazine more often, and I randomly browse Instagram. It's exciting in the dorkiest of ways.
Today I thought I'd share some of my recent favorite images I've come across. There's no real rhyme or reason to them except that in some way, they each feel right for this time of year. You can find more images that inspire me right here. Happy May!

ReplyDeleteMay, June and July are the busiest months of the year for me, because these months are almost exclusively when everyone in their life has their birthday, with the exception of one friend. It gets a little crazy, but I won't deny, it's also a pretty special time of year!
