Welcome to the first official post of March! I don't know if I've ever been so happy to see a new month arrive. It's still very much winter here in Chicago, but I have hope friends. I don't remember a winter in my lifetime that was this cold (probably because there hasn't been one according to the weather records) or snowed this consistently. Winter is always rough for me mentally, but this one has been exceptionally challenging. That makes me even more excited for spring, though.
I've always loved summer, but I'm finding that spring is slowly catching up as my favorite season. The signs of the earth coming back to life each March - especially the arrival of the first flowers - bring me profound happiness. So today, I thought I'd share some pretty spring-inspired images with you, in celebration of the month where spring begins.

Lovely spring images. The flowers hanging with clothespins along the wall is so pretty. That is such a unique idea, especially if done with cuttings from one's own yard. Sending spring thoughts.
