Bubby and Bean ::: Living Creatively: An End-of-School-Year Questionnaire for Young Kids

If you follow along here, you may know that at the beginning of school year, I give my kids a fun 'interview' that I then repeat at the end of the school year, to see how their answers to my questions have changed. It's a cool way to see how their interests evolve, and how they grow in vocabulary and articulation. I've been sharing the questionnaire (and my kids' answers) here for the past few years. These posts are some of our most pinned on Pinterest, and many of you have shared your children's answers with my in response, which I love.

Obviously this school year as been different than any other, but I wanted to keep the tradition alive. So here are both of my babes' responses. (You can see Essley's first day answers here, and Emmett's here.)

2. What grade are you in? Going into first grade.

4. What is your favorite color? Pink.
5. What was your favorite thing to do at school? Writing.
6. What is your favorite activity outside of school? Dance. I like gymnastics second.
7. What do you want to be when you grow up? A ballerina or dance teacher and a scientist.
8. What is your favorite food? Tacos.
9. How old is your mommy? 40 I think.
10. What is her job? Being a blog poster and also she's on Instagram.
11. What is mommy's favorite food? Cottage Cheese.
12. How old is your daddy? Maybe 49?
13. What is his job? Stage Manager.
14. What is daddy's favorite food? Cereal.
15. What do mommy and daddy like to do? Go on dates.

19. What is your favorite toy? Rosie (doll) and Owly (her favorite owl toy since she was a baby).
