You guys know I have a long time love affair with IKEA. (Remember that time my family was on the IKEA Home Tour show?) I remember thinking that one day I'd "grow out of" this love and replace it with more expensive, high end furniture, but that never happened. In fact, my husband and I were just talking about how the majority of IKEA furniture items we have ended up being better quality than the pricey pieces we own.
Because of this undying love, I get irrationally excited when IKEA's new collections drop. And the brand new Spring/Summer 2022 line is no exception. It's actually sort of a departure from the minimalist, Scandinavian style design you usually find at IKEA. And while maximalism is not really my cup of tea (I will never, ever go cottagecore or cluttercore or whatever it's called these days), IKEA is doing it right by keeping it subdued and simple while still combining a lot of elements. I wanted to share some images of my favorites.
Any other long time IKEA fans out there?
