This is one of our favorite snacks for summertime hikes and outdoor activities. It’s both sweet and savory, and full of protein. And it’s so easy to make that I can’t even really call it a recipe!
4 cups Peanut Butter Chex
3 cups pretzel twists
1 cup dry roasted or cocktail peanuts
1/2 cup pepitas
1/2 cup sesame sticks
1/2 cup pepitas
1/2 cup sesame sticks
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup raisins
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well, and store in an airtight container.
You could also make this with regular Chex cereal if you wanted something less sweet or wanted to omit peanuts due to allergies. I have to be honest though - I do feel like the PB Chex makes it especially good. Enjoy!
